University of East London’s Dr Rabih Bashroush is playing a key role in helping societies use energy more efficiently and make the future more environmentally friendly.
A team of experts worked across seven European countries to assess 350 public sector data centres as part of the EU Resource Efficiency Coordination Action (EURECA) project - helping to maintain data centres in the most energy efficient way possible.
It is estimated the project has helped save 52 gigawatt hours of end-use energy a year, which equates to savings of seven million Euros and over 27 thousand tons of CO2 emissions.
